My Warmbloods mane is hogged (or will b again on monday)
so. it took him 2 months to get it to grow 5 centimetres and it looks like a moe hawk..

Depends on how long you want it to get.

I’ve grown out part of my horse’s bridle path, it was previously cut a good 4-6″ wide and I didn’t like it that way, so I only left about 2″ and grew out the rest… I started back in July and the hair has grown out to about 4-5″ right now and is starting to lay fairly flat. I imagine it will take over a year to get it really long and pretty like the rest of his mane, but I leave his mane natural. If you’re just growing it out to show length, it shouldn’t take more than 6 months.

Basically…. It can take up to a year, But in between now and then his mane will start to look nicer.

Good Luck! Patience is the key.

    for a 5yr old, i’d say about 3-6 months.
