I would love to be a race horse trainer, thats Santa Anita, Kentucky, Well you all get the picture, but i am 53. Is it to late?
or is thair still time? I am on a small budget $2,500. to be exact.
I hope if thier is a good horse trainer reading this you would take a gambel on me. This is serious.
If you have a great deal of cow-man sence, a strong back, an willing to work, I say, go for it. Try to get a job with a small outfit that are winning races. You want learn much from someone who isn’t. There are a lot of folks training horses who don’t have clue of even how to feed a horse. There are some trainers running off the farm, and doing a pretty good job. Find someone to work with that is actualy training horses, and not owners. Be honest, and ask the LORD for direction. Sincerely humbleman
im sorry to say but you have left it a bit late! it takes expieriance and knowledge and at your age you should save your money.but if your determined then become a hotwalker at your local track and work like crazy, good luck.
You’ll need to get a license, than find you a cheap claimer and hope for the best. May be better to start out as a stable hand first
