I don’t think you have to kneel to the Pope. Most people who see the Pope might want to. I would say any queen of a country would not have to kneel to the Pope. So the report would be correct, but up to the monarch or even the person. The Pope is ruler of? Rome, the church? Unless you submit your crown and country to the pope you would not bow to him.
As we don’t have to bow to the anti christ. there is no law to bow to anyone. Although centuries past they probably killed you for not bowing to the pope and what not, because the power was more than just church.
So for better or worse, until Jesus rules and takes over, with the wickedness of men, maybe it is good, at times the two are separate. problem comes when Christians are denied the right to express their faith. Why can’t a child wear a Jesus shirt, or dress as Jesus at Halloween or school. It is okay to dress as a devil, vampire, whatever, but you suspend a child for dressing as Jesus That is ridiculous and ignorant, of moronic school officials, and each case should be taken to court for discrimination.
America should not discrimnate for who you worship, even if you don’t agree with their choice of god, that goes for that flyin spagetti guy also.

We don’t kneel before the Pope.
What you see many times is no different than a “curtsy” greeting that a person in the UK gives to the Queen.

The pope does not REQUIRE anyone to kneel before him. The president doesn’t…I haven’t and if one wishes to watch the pope on catholictv.com….I haven’t watched anyone kneel before him.
